Not to be missed: conferences and debates about "Food and Globalisation"

Sopexa and the Terroirs & Cultures association are proud to present the 7th annual Université Saveurs & Savoirs from 7 to 10 December 2009. This series of lively, insightful conferences and debates, each exploring the theme of "Food and Globalisation", is open to food industry professionals and the general public alike.    

The Université Saveurs & Savoirs programme provides informative, intriguing and original perspectives on the world's diverse, highly unique food cultures. Since the first edition in 2003, the Université has explored in-depth the myriad complex factors that link the peoples of the world and the foods they eat. Featuring speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds - researchers, farmers, food industry professionals, chefs, artists and others - these conferences provide an enlightening viewpoint for the public at large.

Every evening, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., three or four speakers from various walks of life will share the floor and debate a full slate of thought provoking issues with the audience at the French Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, a partner of the 2009 event.
