The French Pavilion finalist of the 2010 Gulfood Awards!
The 2010 edition of Gulfood once again demonstrated the dynamism of the food and beverages market in the Gulf Countries. With its 60 exhibitors, the French Pavilion was the ideal venue for meetings and discussions between agribusiness professionals from all over the world. The Pavilion was even a nominee in the “Most Attractive Exhibition Space Over 100 sq. m.” category in the Gulfood Awards. The special events - held thanks to the partnership between Sopexa, the Dubai branch of “Atelier des Chefs” and the SEB Group via its Tefal brand - generated an exceptional buzz around the French Pavilion. Some 216 importers, wholesalers, journalists, exhibitors and other visitors from the food & beverages industry got the chance to try their hand at blending French flavours and local cuisine. In one highlight of the exhibition, Sheikh Mohamed Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Dubai, stopped by the French Pavilion to say hello to Sopexa’s staff and the French exhibitors.
