The crowning of Princesse Amandine potatoes with Stéphane Bern
Sopexa France whipped up this autumn’s tastiest food-related event: On 15 October, 140 guests – including 84 journalists – were on hand to discover the many joys of the Princesse Amandine potato at Alain Ducasse’s new cooking school.
Five talented chefs - Eric Guérin, Alla Pezone, Gilles Choukroun, Gontran Cherrier and Christian Etchebest – teamed up with 5 French personalities – comedians Pascal Sellem and Elisabeth Buffet, actress Jenny del Pino, food critic Carinne Teyssandier and culinary show host Laurent Mariotte - to cook up original recipes using Princesse Amandine potatoes under the expert supervision of journalist, TV host and food lover Stéphane Bern, who emceed the event.
A partnership with the Femme Actuelle Internet site, a leader in the women’s press sector, rounded out this high-profile special event and generated buzz on the Web with a contest for food lovers on the theme of the potato. This has been backed up by a TV sponsorship campaign on the new M6 food and cooking show Bon et à Savoir. The campaign started on 17 October and will run for 13 weeks.
