SOPEXA AND MAISON DE LA FRANCE SIGN A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

- On the occasion of the Destination Vignobles (“Destination Vineyards”) exhibition being held today in Avignon, Sopxa and Maison de la France signed a partnership agreement in order to broaden the scope of their collaboration.

Dominique Chardon, Chairman and Chief Executive of Sopexa, and Thierry Baudier, Managing Director of Maison de la France, signed an agreement that aims to build synergy to develop joint actions while fulfilling their respective missions. As tourism and fine food obviously go hand in hand, the two organisations would like to further increase the number of opportunities where they can work together, in France and worldwide, both on operations designed to promote France as a tourist destination and to promote French food products and culture.

Under the terms of this partnership, Sopexa will support the actions carried out by Maison de la France in selected markets in order to enable France to maintain its position as the world’s leading tourist destination and gain market share. Maison de la France will support Sopexa, enabling it to take advantage of promotional operations carried out by the Economic Interest Group’s 35 local offices in France and abroad, thus helping it to boost the visibility and sales of French food and beverage products.

As tourism and agribusiness confirm their vital role in France’s economy every day, this new partnership will strengthen synergy to meet a common aim: to give France and its art de vivre all the visibility required to ensure the growth of these industries and the French businesses working in them.
