Anne Burchett, new Managing Director UK/Ireland

Anne Burchett has been appointed by Sopexa Group as Managing Director for its UK and Ireland offices.  She reports to Charles Collard, Regional Managing Director UK/Ireland/Benelux, who has relocated from London to the Sopexa Group head office in Paris.

Anne Burchett brings with her over twenty years' experience of both the British and French wine industries, having been previously Managing Director at Castel UK; UK Sales & Marketing Director at Vinival; Director of Sales at Waverley TBS; and UK Sales & Marketing Director at Skalli Fortant de France.

Pierre d'Arbonneau, new Chief Financial Officer

An ESCP graduate, Pierre d'Arbonneau began his career in 1989 at Coopers & Lybrand Price Waterhouse as Audit Manager, eventually becoming Senior Manager. During this time, he gained technical expertise in financial and IT audit. In 2001, Pierre d'Arbonneau was appointed Financial Director for Europe at Level 3 Communications, an American group specialized in fiber optics. In 2006, he joined Randstad France, a Dutch group in the HR services field, as Financial and Administration Director.

Dominique CHARDON hands the Chairmanship of Sopexa over to Jean-Michel LEMETAYER

A member of Sopexa's Board of Directors since 1996, Jean-Michel Lemetayer, Chairman of the French National Federation of Agricultural Workers' Unions (FNSEA) since 2001, has been elected Chairman of Sopexa by the Board of Administration. As a milk producer in the Ille et Vilaine region of France, Jean-Michel Lemetayer is well aware of the worldwide and European issues that the agribusiness sector is facing and has a clear vision of Sopexa's operational and policy role in promoting and marketing food and beverage products. He will oversee the company's public service mission to "promote French food products and culture worldwide" on behalf of the French Ministry of Agriculture until 2012, and head Sopexa's network of 28 offices around the globe, whose bi-cultural staff can carry out missions in more than 50 countries.
